How To Install SuperGripz Bike Grips

Installing SuperGripz is simple and only takes a few minutes. Proper installation helps ensure maximum comfort, vibration absorption, and grip performance while riding.

SuperGripz are designed to move very slightly during riding to help absorb shocks and reduce vibration transferred through the handlebars. This helps improve comfort and may help reduce hand numbness, pins and needles, and palm fatigue on rough terrain and long rides.

Step 1 – Remove Existing Grips & Bar Ends

Carefully remove:

• Existing grips

• Old bar ends

• Dirt or residue from the handlebars

Ensure the handlebars are completely clean before fitting your new SuperGripz.

Step 2 – Clean The Handlebars Properly

Use:

• Isopropyl rubbing alcohol
  OR

• Hairspray

 

Apply using a clean lint-free cloth.

This helps:

• Clean the surface

• Improve grip installation

• Allow the grips to slide on easier during fitting

 

Do NOT use:

• Washing up liquid

• Greasy lubricants

• Oils

Allow the bars to fully dry before riding.

Step 3 – Fit The SuperGripz

Slide the SuperGripz firmly onto the handlebars.

• Adjust the final position

• Trim the grips to your preferred length if required
